How to search Find Case Law

Search by case name, keywords or neutral citation and narrow the results by court or date.

Neutral citations

A neutral citation is the court-issued identifier for a judgment or decision. It is distinct from a case-management number or a reference assigned by another organisation.

Filters

Use the court and date fields to narrow the collection. A search can only return judgments and decisions that have actually been published in Find Case Law.
